Right...umm this is something I personally hate to eat and I do not really undersnand why we polish people like it. But love to smell this thing. Smells so damn good!! Smalec is a fat. Made from lard with added 'skwarki' (cracklings). Many polish people love it and eat it as a bread spread. Some add also pickles to it.
